Dear Dr. Ehteshami-Moinabadi,

in veins with a mono-mineral association of calcite I do not see any reasonable method. You should look for clay minerals accommodating K in their lattice in the fault gauge or U-Pb-bearing minerals associated with calcite. There may be particular settings where you can use Sm/Nd or Sr/Sr isotopes. It needs, however, more information to recommend these isotope ratios.
