Why will you not use spin-coating gold nanoparticles on the Polyaniline films? Polyaniline films are very soft and may not suit for an electrode used for the electrochemical process.
If you wish to deposit a material using electrochemical principles the material to be coated should be made a cathode and the coating metal in the form of cations should be made to migrate to the surface of cathode under the influence of external electric current in an electrochemical cell using salt solution of coating metal as a bath composition in this case say chloroauric acid. Nanoparticles bear zero charge unless they are fictionalized.
