Hello. I purchased a polymer-bound EDC to cross-link, with NHS, a collagen gel.

I observed beads on the surface of the gel after the cross-linking phase. I think that they are the polymer linked to EDC.

Is it a potential issue for the cross-linking quality or the cells response?

How can I avoid these beads? I used 75% ethanol for the dissolution of the EDC-NHS.
