I have constructed a special magnetic ring array to produce a synthetic vortex magnetic flux field at the center of the ring (air cap hole of ring magnet) , something like a giant skyrmion (few mm in diameter) in room temperature (see photo, magnetic vortex field made visible with the quantum magneto optic Ferrolens).
I then irradiated the whole magnetic ring array area with strong gamma photons.
The magnetic filed vanished and there was no magnetic force present or felt at the center of the ring whenever I was irradiating the field however the magnetic array was not demagnetized and still strong magnetic at its perimeter and too faces. Only the vortex magnetic field at center (air cap) was neutralized without affecting the magnet. Whenever I switched off the gamma the field pop in again in an instant.
The permanent magnetic array was kept cool with liquid nitrogen all the time and its temperature never reached the Curie point and was far below 0 Celsius during the experiments.
What is your explanation about this phenomenon?
Did the gamma photons knock out the virtual photons of the magnetic field? Or is it something else?
Where did the field go?
Was it destroyed? Never heard before of a static magnetic field being destroyed without demagnetizing the magnet!
Where did the magnetic energy go or to what being transformed?
Did the magnetic energy go to another space or dimension? :)
