Thanks, but the article just reiterates that urea essentially unfolds the peptide/protein. I am looking for evidence where high concentrations of urea might encourage compactness of any peptide.
Denaturation of peptides may lead to compactness if they tend to form intermolecular β-sheets (hydrophilic). They are forced to turn into intramolecular β-turns.
