I want to determine the degree of hydrolysis using Ninhydrin method, can i generate calibration curves for proline and any other amino acid or it must be Leu or Ile? because most researchers use either of the two. But i feel all amino acids (except proline and hydroxy proline) react in similar manner with Ninhydrin?
