Hi there,

First of all, thanks in advance for answering my question but please ignore this if you're not a technical expertise regarding the topic.

We usually draw (or, extract) the Tafel plots from the corresponding LSVs for HER and OER. During HER, according to the reaction concept, the hydrogen gas starts to evolve when the potential starts to move from positive to negative potential in LSV curves. We usually draw the Tafel plots in E (V vs. RHE) against log j or sometimes overpotential (V or, mV vs RHE) against log j. And if our Tafel slope values are below 120 mV/dec, we can assume the reaction kinetics as well. My question is, can we draw our Tafel plots in a positive potential range (e.g. 0.1V to 0.4V vs. RHE) for HER and is is logically correct?

Here, I attached four images from different published articles (in renowned journals) and the Tafel plots were shown in positive potential range for HER. I erase the symbols of catalysts (acronyms) used in the articles. Please lets not become judgemental (its right or wrong) but answering the fact.

Again, please ignore this query, if you're not an expertise on this topic and thanks and gratitude for your answers/comments and valuable time.
