I was wanting to try ovalbumin coated drug molecules, keeping ovalbumin as the carrier protein and after literature, I feel that its highly impossible to make an emulsion in a way that ovalbumin is coated on the drug Doxorubicin due to a very low affinity of dox in certain ph. I could make out that the ph of dox could be kept best at 8 or 9 but the protein will be denatured as ovalbumin is a highly sensitive protein not just to ph, to temp light and many other factors. So is there any way to make this get encapsulated in an single emulsion at all? Can any one help me with this? I have optimised and synthesised ovalbumin nano particles of nearly 30 to 60nm and a few near 100nm. I was not able to separate by size more than this.
