In my feed water, the concentration of alkyl carbonates is 3000 ppm. I want to reduce it to 1500ppm. I am worried about fouling because 3000 ppm in feed is too high. I believe this high concentration could foul the membrane very fast or not even feasible to go with.
Please if any one can comment on it or suggest any alternative method of removal of alkyl Carbonates specifically (ethylene carbonate (EC) and ethyl – methyl carbonate (EMC)) from water? I would strongly appreciate if any one can share the document that have detailed explanation for this.
