2) Domestic activities, shopping, socialising etc.

3) Kids interruptions.

4) Lot of eating.

5) Lose mood of work.

6) Emptiness and feeling a craving of work environment.

7) Loneliness effect with empty mental interior.

8) Disappointment, and feeling instability.

etc.

Of course, the spread of the Corona epidemic psychologically affects thinking to disrupt the movement of work, decrease communication with professors in your fields, direct communication is much better than communication as social media.

We ask the Lord of the Worlds (our God Allah Al Rahman) to raise the epidemic and the calamity and to forgive our sins for what we have committed.

One of difficulties is getting the kids to stay away from my work space at home. They interrupt all the time even when I am on a Zoom meeting. My younger one seem not to understand why I am home and don’t want to hang out.

Well the answer may vary from individual to individual, the reason is that under which or what conditions are you doing your work in your regular place of work? To some of us in this part of the world, where there is no regular supply of electricity talkless of internet, no suitable office talkless of equipping them with academic/research essentials. You are even good at home than the office. Though there could be little distractions if you are married with kids, or living with aged people at home, feeling loneliness and absence of sharing ideas in a group discussion are problems too. Presently the fear of Covid-19 has remove concentration and deeper thoughts from individuals.

The more individual and theoretical is character of work, the easier to adjust to a home office activity. Whereas jobs requiring a frequent collective synchronized effort, dynamic management imputes, and tight short time intervals for a job completion - a home office is a very tough choice to get accommodated to it. Yet, family circumstances, home IT services, and home qualities play quite a serious impact on the home office viability.

Yes, 'field work' and 'laboratory work' cannot be performed from home.

It depends upon the type of work one is having. If its fieldwork or experimental work....you need a lab, not a home.

And I would also like to add one more point here, when you work out of your home, you don't have the opportunity to build the deep personal connections you can make when you work with the same people every day. Without that interaction, it's easy to feel isolated.

It is not possible to do 'work at home' in all sectors.it is limited to only few fields.

During the COVId-19 pandemic, some of the work, such as manuscript preparation, reviewing the papers, book writing, checking the MSc and Ph.D theses of students etc. that does not require outdoor activities, can be done at home.

I am doing the same work from home as I am strictly following lock down.

Work at home is very much convenient as we are comfortable with the surrounding & the atmosphere . With this we may have liberty to save our time of recess at a very convenient & homely pleasure manner . In this line it is not at all difficult to work at home unless the student has a wavering mind & interested in moving outside .

Working from home can be perfect for some while troubling for others.

It all goes down to what is the nature of work you do and the personality you have. Even in same professions people reach differently to different situations.

For instance some reserchers are enjoying to be home and making papers while others are whining as they think they are quarantined!

Suddenly, I found the printer out of ink, which mainly I used to design a research paper or to finalize a particular draft. Besides I work in team which usually we meet twice a week to discuss some issues. Yes, it is difficult.
