For calculating using x-ray diffraction, SAXS is a good approach but
, few people reports the calculation using XRD at higher angles also. Is it correct to use Scherrer's formula or willamson Hall for calculating the crystallite size of polymers?
SAX is used to determine very small sizes of polymer films. I believe that determining the crystallite size of the HRD polymer method is methodologically incorrect, since electron planes in polymers do not correspond to the Bragg method. It can be said that there is a region of crystallinity, but it would be methodically incorrect to apply the formula.
