Could I say there are two transfer pathways for moisture from Indian Ocean to influence the Tibetan Plateau' climate. One from BOB and the other from Arabian Sea

I just mentioned the moisture from Indian Ocean. That is Indian Monsoon. For other two, the sources are different.
The Himalaya Mountains are a barrier for the Indian Monsoon winds. It is likely that it is splitted into two branches. One enters the Tibetan Plateau via the Brahmaputra Valley and the other one from the southwestern part of the Tibetan Plateau. It is still under discussion if the Indian Monsoon also enters the Plateau directly crossing the Himalaya Mountain range. However, if you have these two branches, then you will have different isotopic signatures due to the different transport pathways.

Moisture from the BOB via the Brahmaputra Valley or any other large river valleys in the eastern rim of the Plateau may be important for summer precipitation in southeastern Tibet, and may also of influence in areas along the Qinghai-Tibetan Rail-way line, but it is extemely unlikely for the moisture to reach to the western Kunlun Mountains.

Hi, Mingda Wang: You are right. The oxygen isotope of Guliya is defienetly not mainly effected by Asian monsoon. The region belongs to the westerly-dominated region. Please see my paper (Chen et al., 2008; 2010) and those by Lide Tian. The boundary between monsoon-dominated region and Westerly-dominated region in the TP is at about 32-33 degree according to precipiattion oxygen istope changes across TP. Guliya ice core is much beyaond this.
