The Stress Tensor assumes the mass to be continuous and together.

Moment we bring space between, the Stress Tensor is not valid. Where is the pressure? Where is the shear Stress? Where is the momentum density? In a continuum of matter, these things make sense.

But most of the space we cover in Stars, Planets, Moons, Galaxies, and Inter Galactic levels, we do not have the continuum of mass but have vast space in between which we do not understand.
