Hello,
is it difficult to grow Fusobacterium nucleatum? Does it grow in liquid medium? Is there some particular requirement that makes this bacterium different from other? Is it slow to grow?
I understand it should be also an endoparasite; can be grown into macrophages?
Is there some good article describing its growing conditions?

Fusobacterium nucleatum is Gram negative, obligate, anaerobic, fastidious, non-sporulated, rod shaped bacterium, and is implicated in clinical disorders of humans.You can try Brucella blood agar, CDC anaerobic blood agar, and Fastidious anaerobic agar for isolation of this fastidious organism from clinical specimens under anaerobic condition. I have never worked on anaerobic organisms. My work is mainly concentrated on aerobic bacteria, and fungi.

F. nucleatum is strict anaerobe and it can be grown on fastidious anaerobic agar(FAA) plates at 37oC in anaerobic condition for 48 h.
You can grow it in brucella broth also.
