My study is on understanding mobile apps adoption from ecological perspective. That is, will people adopt mobile apps during conferences because they are environmental friendly like green IS. I want to elicit the salient beliefs, but I am confused whether I should do it for 'green IS' or 'green mobile apps'?
I suggest you define very clearly what 'Green IS' and 'Green Mobile Apps' are. Then with the improved clarity of vision you will be less confused about what your goal is. I have some difficulty seeing what can be 'green' about a piece of software per se. It is what the software is used for.

OK Nripendra, I see what you are getting at. But you still need formal definitions of the two variables to carry out any sort of quantitative comparison. Qualitative studies while interesting are rarely persuasive.
