Hello, my dear colleagues.
Here is my study design, could you give me some advice if a curve figure is proper here?
I have 36 mice from 3 treatment groups (12 mice/treatment group)
3 mice from each group were sacrificed at 4 different time points (0, 24, 48, 96hours) post the treatment to get the measurement A (mean+/- sd)
0, 24,48,96
(group 1) 3, 3, 3, 3
(group 2) 3, 3, 3, 3
(group 3) 3, 3, 3, 3
I wanted to use the histogram for each group at 4 timepoints
but my professor insists we can use three curves to line up A at different timepoints.
Group 1 (A0---A24---A48---A96)
Group 2 (A0---A24---A48---A96)
Group 3 (A0---A24---A48---A96)
I dont think it is right to do so. I want to ask for your opinion. Thank you.
Something like attached sketch would bo ok. the time zero values would be closer to each other

I was told there is no way we can take multiple blood samples from each mouse, and lab mice (e.g. balb/c) are highly homogenous, therefore
e.g., when we need a time-concentration curve of 5 time points, we can use data from 5 different mice, measured at each time point.
And it is considered the time-concentration curve from a mouse measured at 5 timepoints.
As your professor suggested it is better use three curves to line up A at different time points. That makes both within and between comparison easier.
