ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a chatbot launched by OpenAI in November 2022. It is built on top of OpenAI's GPT-3 family of large language models and is fine-tuned (an approach to transfer learning) with both supervised and reinforcement learning techniques.
ChatGPT was launched as a prototype on November 30, 2022, and quickly garnered attention for its detailed responses and articulate answers across many domains of knowledge. Is it really creating a big challenge for the educator in the upcoming days?
It is rather an opportunity. The educational system has developed overtime. This development was led, mainly, by the need for adaption, and our time is not an exception.
In my opinion, the answer for the question is both no and yes. No, it is not a threat, and Yes it is a challenge.
On the other hand, I believe that the advancement in NLP technologies offers a great opportunity for the educators. For instance, chatGPT summerizes the available information and provides a great resource of structured information.
Lastly, chatGPT is not more than an application for the NLP advancement in AI. It has many drawbacks, biases and limitaions. For example, so far it fails to perform some simple mathematical and logical operations.
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence language model that can generate human-like text based on a given prompt. It is trained on huge data sets consisting of a massive amount of text data. The Harvard Business Review notes, “while versions of GPT have been around for a while, this model has crossed a threshold: It’s genuinely useful for a wide range of tasks, from creating software to generating business ideas to writing a wedding toast.”

I believe that artificial intelligence (AI) has the capacity to replace humans in many jobs, but we are still a long way from that. As a result, I think that in the near future, AI tools will support human knowledge and assist in a variety of jobs. Therefore, ChatGPT is not currently a threat to the educator. However, if they are not updated with AI, many people will be forced to leave their jobs in the future. And this will be humanity's current challenge. AI is a truly revolutionary technology.

Is ChatGPT or Open AI really a threat to the traditional education system?
Yes! Humans require practice in order to become good at various processes. Part of the education process includes practice. Humans are not computers, and information that is presented, but not used, or only practiced once, can be forgotten fairly easily. Practice is necessary to to reinforce memories. Both research and writing are skills needing practice. By using ChatGPT, or a similar AI, students bypass practicing research and writing, never getting good at it, and not really understanding the process. Used inappropriately, ChatGPT promotes a lack of thinking and minimizes the educational process.
Yes, it is seen that chatgpt passed the MBA exam now its threat to the educational system especially business side education.
Chat Gpt will help Users to generate results faster, implying that it's effect on the students IQ will invasive.
Nevertheless, this an information era where those who know how to use tools to generate results will be favoured.
AI models like ChatGPT can provide quick and convenient access to information, but they do not have the capacity to replace the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are developed through human interaction and hands-on experience.
