Hi everyone,

I'm very interested in studying mouse subventricular zone (SVZ) sections. According to literature, vibratome cutting provides the best approach possible to observe this structure.

As our group owns a VT1200S Vibratome from Leica Biosystems, I was encouraged to work with it. Although I managed to adjust the cutting using the Vibrocheck, vibratome doesn't still working and message error 21 is displayed.

According to manufacturer's instruction, this corresponds to an error related to  amplitude settings. Nevertheless, I carefully set an amplitude value, after switching off the vibratome. After consulting technical support, the vibratome still fails to vibrate although it vibrated a few weeks ago.

Could anybody provide any help on this?!
