the International Council for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH),
see link http://www.islh.org/web/icsh.php,
has among its running projects to create a guideline on Automated Body fluids analysis (performed by hematology analyzers).
The project is almost completed and the guideline might be available by beginning of 2014.
Once published you will be able to freely download it from the ICSH website or from the Int Journal of Laboratory Hematology (usually the ICSH guidelines are published as open-articles on this journal).
