I am trying to ultimately produce PLA nanoparticles dispersed in water, less than 600 nm in size. My process so far involves antisolvent precipitation with dichloromethane + methanol of L-PLA + PLA-PEG block copolymer as stabilizer. The particles formed are very nice, but after drying they do not redisperse well. Since PVA is not soluble in methanol, I was considering using PVAc instead to allow for better redispersion in water. Is this feasible?
