I have grown a bit tired of seeing so many of the questions posed to ResearchGate become about how to use software. There are plenty of other forums on the internet for this. I would like questions on ResearchGate to be focused on research concepts, theory, ethics, philosophy, etc. I personally think that would be more fun and productive for everyone and more experts would pay attention and contribute.

Yes, There also the manuals for each software but unfortunately some of the researchers directly asked questions without doing some basic homework, Although some of the questions are meaningful but as you said that there are other forums which associated with specific software and I think, for each software, there is an independent forum. I really appreciate your question, may be from your question some of the new students will aware of this.
