A Shape Memory Polymer is a material which takes a desired shape if current is passed through it. It is a flexible material that can be molded into any shape just by designing its skeleton. Being an Automobile Engineer, I am thinking of using this in vehicles (Cars, MUV, SUV and other categories). I want to know more about its research for Industrial Application.

papers which report "molded into any shape just by designing its skeleton... " in true sense are extremely rare.. Perhaps your requirement fits the term "shape changing polymers".. see this review: DOI: 10.1039/C3CS60079C
But many "run of the mill" versions of so-called "shape memory polymers" especially with Polyurethane are reported by the dozen year after year and most of the reports are confined to helical shaped samples.
