RCTs on immediate loading for implant overdentures seem to be a rare species. I would be very grateful if you would share your knowledge.
As to the roughness of the new implants, observation microbial did not influence the biofilm formation during the first year of implantation load. (Clin Oral Implants Res. 2012 May;23(5):625-34)
