Hi Sara, growth will depend on temperature as well; not time only. If your experiment is between 30°C and 37°C you should be reaching the exponential growth phase by the time you are suggesting. However, if you (your lab) are not familiar with that strain of bacteria; I strongly recommend that you get the growth curve first and then adjust your protocol accordingly with those results.
