Psychology is scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior in a given context can this be linked with technology
You don't state a question, but you're in the domain of both instrumentation and the question of how technology makes possible new psychological research. For example, MRIs and EEGs allow us to know more about the brain than we did before. Computers made possible a level of data analysis not previously available. Some research, such as the content analysis of dreams, relied on the development of typewriters, copiers, calculating machines, pencils with erasers, electric lighting, index cards, and more (waking up in the dark to write down a dream with a stylus was difficult! Even with candles and matches it was difficult). You can find one angle on this by looking for "brass instrument psychology" but it's a much bigger issue than that. Some would use the phrase "material culture" to describe developments such as the typewriter and calculator and how they affected psychology.
You should look into the various associated disciplines that arose during the development of computers and other complex machines; here are some of the names it goes by (just try Wikipedia):
- human factors
- cognitive ergonomics
- human system integration
- human computer interaction
- user-centered or use-centered design
- User Experience (UX) though this isn't always about a 'technology' per se as I intend you mean it
All of these have deep roots in psychology, as well as interdisciplinary ties to computer science and philosophy.
Technology, such as Hendrika points out, allows us to know more about the brain than we did before, and hence it has been highly influential in shaping psychological research. Psychology cas benefit a lot from technology. Technology has increased susbantially one's brain functioning and also one's mind functioning. Even so, important psychological findings were got without the present sophisticated technology. Piaget's findings about the individual's cognitive development is just an example.
