This interdisciplinary research develops an innovative framework for monitoring methane emissions in Western Canada using advanced remote sensing techniques. The study contributes to global climate action and supports key international initiatives, including the Global Methane Pledge and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (particularly SDGs 3, 13, and 15).
