Hello

I would be grateful for some advice on using the 44-Big Five Inventory (Personality) - please see attached.

I am just looking at 10 participants for my study. I am hoping to get more participants at a later date. They have filled in the BFI questionnaire. My problem is that I am not sure how to interpret the results/traits. I have scored them each as per the PDF, and they each have a score for each personality trait.

Say, for example, I look at only the extraversion trait. I want to divide up this trait into low, medium and high; meaning low extraversion (i.e. they are an introvert), medium (to say they are in the middle; a bit of both); high (to say they are an extrovert).

I am wondering: how do I do this? I have read something about normalising the data, but unsure still.

I would be grateful for your thoughts and input. If I find an answer in the meantime, I will post the solution.

Thank you for your time.
