One paper published in 2011 (Proc. Jpn. Acad., Ser. B 87) reported Procyanidin as a potent inhibitor of LOX-1. Another paper published in last year (Biochem Biophys Res Commun. 2013 438(2) 340-5) describes Design of a novel LOX-1 receptor antagonist mimicking the natural substrate.
