i want to fabricate tio2 nano particles via planetary high speed ball milling process. initially i am taking a 40 micron particle size. please suggest the RPM i could set and what PCA i should used to prevent cold welding and agglomeration? can i go with Ethanol or something else.
Aggregation of nano-sized particles is a given in the dry. In the wet you'll need to control the pH and this is preferable in water rather than in a volatile solvent such as EtOH. Google 'comminution limit'. Take a look at:
