Dear colleagues, I know that DBA/1J is the most common and susceptible mouse type for inducing CIA, but now, this type is not available for me, so I am going to use C57BL/6 mice for that. I thoroughly read the protocol of CIA induction in C57BL/6 mice and its differences with DBA/1J, such as the use of Chicken collagen and completed Freund's Adjuvant (4mg/ml TB) instead of bovine collagen and completed Freund's Adjuvant (2mg/ml TB), respectively. Please let me know further details if you have experience regarding this (age, sex, injection route, etc.) Your answers would be appreciated.
