I strongly believe that an effective research team first should have an understanding with each other about their research..the main important point here is the team leader, i feel everything goes around the team leader and so team leader need to be honest. also, team leader should meet and discuss with the team daily in the morning about the work allotted to each member of the team..leader need to solve the difficulty faced by team members and ready to solve the problem related to the work in timely manner in discussion with members of the team....team leader should give equal respect to all members and patient to hear from each individual member of the team..in general, the leader should get the work done with the team through an unbiased behaviour by giving important to all members..i feel this is the way to form an effective research team..

In my opinion the first thing that the most important factor required for a highly effective research work team is having align goals and the same concern regarding to the field cooperating with each other.

I feel there should be some objective of the research team, which will eventually help them to accomplish their goal. The team members should be well versed with the research methodologies and competent enough to meet the expectations from them. Team leader should have deep understanding of methodology and research area. Moreover, s/he should be good at managing complex activities, motivating team members,conflict resolution, risk management. Knowledge on IPR, cyber security are good to have.
