The problem of reducing the costs of National Health Services is a very sensitive issue worlwide not only for developing, but also for developed countries. I therefore believe that competition among multiple producers of the same molecule can lower the costs of the treatment of any disease. However, they are not aware of pharmaceutical companies are preparing to produce generic drugs for the treatment of hepatitis C, which requires the use of biological molecules (interferon) and always new substances with anti-viral activity. Instead, we can significantly improve the therapeutic outcome with outcoming interferon-free therapies .
