In universities, administrative bureaucratic rules and forms; in small colleges it can be resource lack and/or faculty politics.
There are so many challenges that teachers encounter in the classroom that make it difficult for them to deliver quality teaching:
1) The problem of large class versus single teacher in places where two or three teachers should be on ground so that the students can maintain decorum.
2) Lack of facilities like public address system in such classes
3)Environmental distractions and lots more
One of the challenges that lecturers face today is relating the lesson to the student's current or future life. Students seem to always ask themselves, how is this lesson useful to me? Students seem to ask themselves 'How will this lesson help me in my career?'
