From the epidemiological and public health aspects , its consider a real hazard if bovine can play a role as an intermediate host for life cycle of Taenia solium
There is specific host for infection bovien by T. saginata, but recently the immune research is revealed to cross reaction between the parasites infection. look at this life cycle:
The infection is species specific. T solium eggs do not evolve in another host like cow or bovine. In human something similar happens when we eat T. saginata eggs, these do not develop to ciscticercus, but T. solium if it does
First , i want to thank you for your answer ,, second ,, you must know the cysticercus stage of Taenia spp. dont develop in humam body , its only develop in intermediate hosts ( bovine and swine ) , when human swallows eggs of Taenia spp. the adult parasite will developed in his body because human is the final host of the parasite ,, Best regards , Jwad Ali
