In the past, globalization processes were determined by various factors. In my opinion, the processes of information, cultural, technological, financial, economic, political globalization are currently dominating.
In view of the above, I am asking you:
In what direction do you think globalization processes should follow in the future?
Please, answer, comments.
I invite you to the discussion.
Best wishes
Dear Mirna Leko-Šimić,
Yes, globalization of the last few decades, in addition to what I wrote above, was also determined by many other factors, including in the field of culture and politics.
Best wishes
Dear Agnieszka Will geb. Gronek,
Yes, issues of human rights, health care, education should be taken and developed at the international level. In my opinion, in a superwar perspective, security should also be developed in other issues of public security, including economic, financial, ecological, cybernetic security, information security, data transfer, various factors of capital in international perspective. Internationally operating institutions should be developed, which should improve various systems, including the above-mentioned categories, security systems operating at the international level. In this way, the world in various aspects could develop more effectively, in a balanced model, in seeking to reduce the scale of many negative societal phenomena, reduce the scale of economic stratification of different social strata, reduce the scale of international income disparities and equipping with production factors. In addition, in connection with the progressive global warming of the Earth, discussions, institutions and activities in the field of environmental protection should also be developed, including reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, improvement of waste segregation techniques, development of renewable energy sources, internationally developed eco-innovations, etc.
Best wishes
these four factors ( processes of information, technological, financial and economic globalization ) will dominate in future also.now the more focus is on how to make thses technologies, way of informantion etc. advanced,
but in future, might be more foucs on sustanibality (social. economical and ecological).
Fine question. We can confidently say, no defined direction. First, globalisation is reality. It is here to stay. Why? We human beings keep understanding better the physical world. Call it science. Now, let us reflect hard, barriers of the Weberian state arise from disparities in the ability to master the physical world. We are on an asymptotic track, and hence ever closer globalisation. Turn to the processes. Reduced disparities mean diminishing centres of control. We end up with a dynamical space - look at it as many linked balls in motion. That means while we know the long-term trajectory, short-term dynamics will be diffused.
In the realm of social issues - culture, business, politics, travel, interaction etc. - according to scholars such as Pankaj Ghemawat, the world is much less globalized than we tend to believe. Globalization is very much a "tip of the iceberg" phenomenon. Most people live their lives in very locally constrained ways, and most countries are inward-looking, not outward -looking. The world remains a fragmented, localized, provincial, and narrow-minded place, which unfortunately does not help dealing with global scale issues, ranging from climate change to trajectories for fair and sustainable development.
Dear Colleagues,
I may be missing the point here but I believe we first have to have an understanding of what we're looking for and trying to answer. As such, should the question be constructed around "should" or "would?" I believe we first have to have a consensus on what we're looking for. We all probably think and feel the same about what "the globalization processes should follow in the future." I am and would be more interested in what "the globalization processes would follow in the future."
Happy 2019 to all my colleagues around the world!

In the sectors with high homogeneity of preferences the globalization will continue to advance. Supranational institutions both regional and global will receive more and more powers. However, in the sectors where public preferences are rather heterogeneous only general international cooperation is likely to develop. Theory of fiscal federalism and market failure concept (developed within public sector economics and widened in public choise theory) give much reasoning as for the policies that should be centralized (read as globalized).
The process is of irreversible greater weight to the international opening, in spite of eventual waves of restriction or of nationalistic emphasis.

In my opinion, information, technological and economic globalization is currently dominating. Perhaps in the future, the dominant determinants of globalization factors will change. Perhaps the question of ecology will become an important factor in globalization?
The future global factors, in my perception, should address world peace, alarming growth of human population, scarcity of water, environment, information and technology, and economy.
Increasing human population and inequality in distribution of economy is going to be very important factor
Dear Colleagues and Friends from RG,
I would like to add the following to the discussion above:
The importance of international technology transfer for the economic development of the national and global economy.
The above discussion inspired me to formulate the following question:
Is the development of international technology transfer important for the economic development of the national and global economy?
On the basis of the above considerations and conclusions drawn from the discussion on interesting issues discussed, I formulated the following thesis that the development of international technology transfer is important for the economic development of the domestic and global economy. Therefore, instruments for activating international technology transfer should be improved to stimulate the economic development of the national and global economy. Below I have described the key determinants confirming the formulated research thesis. To the above discussion I would like to add the following conclusion formulated as a summary of my previous considerations on this topic: international technology transfer.
Technology, data, information, entrepreneurship, innovation are additional factors of production, whose significance has been growing for several decades in developed and developing countries. The basic three categories of factors of production known from the historically first mainstream in the history of economic thought, i.e. classical economics such as: land, work, capital have been in various neoclassical and other concepts since the 1960s in knowledge-based economies enriched with new categories of factors manufacturing, which includes such determinants of production factors, service delivery factors and the generation of economic growth such as: technology, data, information, entrepreneurship, innovation, etc.
Asymmetry of information prevents real perfect perfect competition from both microeconomic and inter-macroeconomic approaches rival national economies. National economies compete for access to production factors, for innovative concepts of social and economic development, for the rate of economic growth activated by efficiently implemented state interventionism, for determinants of generating entrepreneurship and innovation, for foreign capital financing the development of investment projects and production enterprises, in the matter of growing production on export, etc. One of the important factors of competition is creating conditions for the development of technological innovations, innovative startups developing innovative technologies, enterprises implementing new, modern technologies on an industrial scale, etc. Highly developed countries usually export technologies to other countries, including only developing countries when they are already developing more modern technologies for their own needs.
In addition, international technology transfer usually accompanies the transfer of investment capital, i.e. the transfer of production enterprises from one country to another or through large transnational corporations made by foreign corporations undertaken in the form of direct investments consisting in building new enterprises, production or service companies, logistics and other or acquired other existing companies under capital transactions. Another form of cross-border technology transfer is its purchase by companies operating commercially in individual countries. In some countries, these types of transactions are co-financed by granting subsidies from the state finance system funds for the purchase of technology. This type of state interventionism results from the need to supplement national manufacturing processes with missing technologies recognized in developing countries as one of the most important manufacturing factors.
In line with the above, in my opinion, the development of international technology transfer is important for the economic development of the national and global economy. Therefore, instruments for activating international technology transfer should be improved to stimulate the economic development of the national and global economy.
Do you agree with me on the above matter?
I conduct research in this area. The conclusions of the research I published in scientific publications that are available on the Research Gate portal.
In view of the above, I am asking you the following questions:
- Is the development of international technology transfer important for the economic development of the national and global economy?
- What is the impact of international technology transfer on the economic development of the national and global economy?
- How should the instruments for activating international technology transfer be improved?
- What do you think about this topic?
- What is your opinion on this topic?
Please reply.
I invite you to discussion and scientific cooperation.
Thank you very much.
Best wishes.

I am a proponent of globalization that always together the desired goal is achieved faster and easier. But only in cases where this does not affect the interests of the main population of the earth who have an average income and a poor population as well as environmental aspects that contribute to the destruction of nature.
Good Day,
I think you may have covered most of them from the outset and I do agree with the ecological aspect as well. I also would definitely support ‘Education’ from a globalised context. Currently, vast amounts of the global population remains illiterate which leads to poverty and stems other social ills. With the emergence of Massive open online courses (MOOCs – which are free) and other online learning platforms that are transcending over physical barriers, I do not see why the entire/majority of the world’s population cannot become educated in the future. More emphasis must be made on globalising education (eg. Building infrastructure to support online learning for all). An educated and knowledgeable population can contribute to a better world.
Thank you and best wishes,
Sachin
Before the voyages of Magellan, the world was not "global"... it was perceived to be flat or some other shape. So, global and globalization are not ancient ideas.
Now, we are at the cusp of another change.
People, technology, business, economics, politics -- and eventually culture -- are about to escape the "global" constraint and move into outer space.
So, get ready for a future that will have global as well as transglobal, postglobal, extraglobal, nonglobal, and other concepts that will come into play.
Technology has reduced the size of the world, so globalization advances, despite some political obstacles. It benefits everyone.
Currently, technologocal, political, economic, educational and religious globalization is leading.
In the future more advanced technologocal, economic, political, and educational globalization will still dominate.
Economy, politics, and technology are indispensable elements of globalization
Dear Colleagues and Friends from RG, In the context of the above issues, I propose to continue the joint discussion on the following topic: Will the globalization processes be slower in 2020 compared to previous years due to the development of the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic?
Inviting you to the discussion, please reply.
Thank you very much.
Best wishes.

Interesting discussions have recently emerged about the impact of the current SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic on Covid-19 disease on ongoing globalization processes. In my opinion, the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the digitization and internetization processes of many business processes, increasing the scale of e-commerce development, however, mainly on a national scale, less internationally. However, there are many indications that information and IT globalization may increase due to the development of the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus epidemic. However, economic globalization can decrease if the scale of interrupted international intermodal logistics chains is large. The importance of developing sub-assemblies, semi-finished products and production factors for the production of specific goods within the national economy may grow, to which they are now imported from geographically distant other economies. Therefore, the importance of shortening logistics chains and replacing international logistics chains with domestic logistics chains is growing in order to reduce the risk of dependence on foreign component suppliers located in geographically distant countries, characterized by other economic, social, political and other environmental conditions related to a different climate zone, i.e. also factors that until recently have not been paying much attention. SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic can therefore significantly reduce the scale of economic globalization. In connection with the above, perhaps under the influence of the Koronavirus pandemic, globalization processes will significantly change their character.

Hello everyone, Dear Colleagues and Friends from RG, Thank you very much for participating in this discussion, for valuable tips, additions, inspiring theses and new insights on the above issues. I would like to add the following question to this discussion: Does international technology transfer play an important role in current globalization processes? Is international technology transfer an important factor in technological and economic globalization?
Technology is one of the most important production factors in developed knowledge-based economies. Therefore, technology can in the long run decide on the scale of comparative advantage of economic development and the resulting differences in development between individual countries. On the other hand, the processes of economic, information, technological globalization, etc. cause that the flow of information and technology between countries is steadily growing. Transnational corporations, including international corporations, including technology, production, information, internet, financial services, etc., which invest in other countries, carry out direct investments, create new production plants and technology and logistics centers play an important role in this matter. etc. in other countries and thus the technology is transferred from country to country. In the context of this discussion, I am asking you to answer the following questions: Does international technology transfer play an important role in current globalization processes? Is international technology transfer an important factor in technological and economic globalization?
Please reply.
What is your opinion on this topic?
I am asking for an answer and invite you to a discussion,
Thank you very much and best regards, Have a nice day,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
Good afternoon from Germany. Well this is a very interesting question as the future is quite unpredictable at the moment. Over the last two decades business and economy have interacted and correlated with each other on a worldwide, multifunctional basis. The advantages have been cheaper labor, cheaper products and also more interaction between different nations. The disadvantages, jus to mention a few, have been high dependance on other countries (as we witnessed with the masks back in March, where countries where dependent on china), less jobs in the domestic countries and also bad working conditions in foreign countries in order to provide cheap production. As we can see there are pro's and con's and one thing is clear: the future will be different. I could imagine countries to become more "old fashioned" in the future. Both in politics and also in business. In my opinion this will only be a phase though and in 5-10 years we will see a revolution that will connect all continents and make business across boundaries and borders easier and more flexible than ever before. The digitalization will play a huge role in this and this is the big question: When relying so much on digitalization, what shall happen in case of a natural catstophy that could cut electricity all over the world? For example a solar storm similar to the Carrington Event back in 1859. We need to find alternative energy sources before we start focusing solely on a digital future. The effects of a natural catastrophe could turn the world in a few minutes back to life during the 18th century. That's why it's important to think out of the box and try to find correlations and interdependence between different related subjects.
Dear Ferdinand Diel, I fully agree with you that we need to develop innovative, environmentally friendly alternative energy sources. The development of information technologies ICT, Industry 4.0, pro-ecological, etc. should help in solving growing global problems, which include climate change, the global warming process, more and more frequent economic crises, etc. It is necessary to develop international cooperation in the field of international research projects in international trade, cross-border transfer of capital and technology. All these processes will model economic globalization in the future. Best wishes,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
I believe that globalisation must be bound by sustainability. In this way, sustainable development goals have an relevant role in framing the globalisation for our future generations.
Dear Sule Akkoyunlu, Roberto - Minadeo, Ernani Contipelli,
Thank you for your response.
Yes, I fully agree with you that the key factors of globalization should be taking care of nature, biodiversity, climate, people's living conditions, etc. So green globalization, pro-ecological globalization, human globalization, globalization for nature and climate protection should dominate. I am glad that we look at this issue in a similar way.
Greetings, All the best, Stay healthy!

Dear Dariusz Prokopowicz it is relevant to elaborate a discursive narrative that claims for a program of values, principles, and rules, recognizing the gradual process of interdependence between international and domestic systems in order to establish a global social agenda based on the SDGs through interpretative efforts that generate a legal framework, which is able to recover and sustain the capacity of the Nation-States to deal with collective goods and their current planetary dimension.
Dear Ernani Contipelli, Yes, you raised an important point. Thank you for your participation and your substantial contribution. I am glad that you took into account the implementation of the SDG principles in your highly substantive answer.
Best regards,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
Dear Roberto - Minadeo, Thank you for your response. Thank you for answering the question: In what direction do you think globalization processes should follow in the future? Greetings,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
We cannot assume that globalisation will run smoothly or according to idealistic predictions. Ethnic and national considerations will still play a part as countries gather together to protect resources and interests. Climate change will anyway interrupt the process providing unpredictable circumstances that will disrupt attempts at peace and congeniality.
We have a long way to go with a thousand bumps in the road.
Dear Stanley Wilkin, Yes, I agree with your opinion that the processes of globalization in the coming years are difficult to forecast because they are determined by many factors. In addition, there are new, non-existent factors of influence, such as the current SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic, which will certainly affect the continued processes of globalization. This influence has already started through the increase in the digitization of social and economic processes, etc. However, apart from that, there are many other factors that are difficult to predict, which will shape the processes of economic globalization in the future. Best wishes, All the best, Stay healthy!

Dear G. Stephen, Thank you for your response. I confirm and think the same. I also hope that in this information society, social market economy - technological development and the ongoing social, economic, political, globalization and pro-ecological processes will contribute to generating greater financial, economic, social, etc. benefits in various aspects of civilization development and people's lives.

Dear G. Stephen, I am glad that you share my opinion on this topic.

Different authors' notes on the influence the pandemic, climate changes, and political system differences make on globalization are going to be valid for quite a while. I think, the direction globalization will go on in the future is in following on attempts to get built into economic and political agreements between major world economic powers and political powers. That is small and medium size countries will compete for aligning their political and economic interests with key world economic and political powers. That would provide long time warranty, stability, and resources for own economic development and security.
Dear Md. Abdur Razzak Choudhury, Yes, I agree with your opinion that human rights, their respect and dissemination should be one of the key areas and goals of the development of globalization processes.
Best regards,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
A wave of nationalism around the world has left many wondering if the trend toward greater global connection has reversed. “We need to remember that changes in a global supply do not come about from one day to the next; it might take years before a company can reconfigure its sourcing, manufacturing process, logistics planning, and so on.” “Taking advantage of interconnected and complex global markets, we can bring together diverse viewpoints and approaches to create strategic business models that will make people around the world more prosperous and self-sufficient, particularly if they have the training and education to compete in a new global economy.” “The world today is increasingly polarized into locals versus cosmopolitans. My concerns about our college and graduate school education today is that we are further developing a sense of cosmopolitan community for some people, excluding others.” “The globalization of one country’s product is the start of localization in a regional market; then the localized product will be sold globally.” “Unless you know how to decode other cultures and bridge cultural gaps, you are vulnerable to inefficiency, with teams unable to work together and deals that fall apart.”
Dear Len Leonid Mizrah,
Yes, the key factors of globalization are a derivative of economic, social and political processes implemented in various areas of organization functioning, internationally operating corporations, financial institutions, etc., and processes implemented at the macroeconomic level. These processes should be directed at strengthening and developing guarantees, stability and security in various economic, political, social, energy, environmental and other aspects. Greetings,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
Dear Rashmi Pramanik, Thank you for your answer. Yes, I agree with your opinion on the subject of globalization processes. Well, in order to solve global problems, it is necessary to increase international cooperation. There are many economic, social, environmental, climate etc. problems that require urgent development of work to solve them. An increase in international cooperation is necessary. Thank you very much for your valuable participation in our discussion. Feel free to discuss other topics together. Best wishes,

I think that the next step after finantial and economic globalization will be globalization of laws and rules. Major challenges will be a remote labor regulation and climate policy agreements
Dear Sonia Quiroga, Thank you for your answer. I also believe that after the current dominant issues related to the economy and the Coronavirus pandemic in the years to come, the importance of the development of international climate policy should increase in the processes of globalization. It is necessary to increase international cooperation in this matter.
Best regards,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
I agree with the scientist's conclusion, since the development of the digital economy requires the development of a new law of the mechanism of economic development.
Dear Rinat Zhanbayev,
Yes. I am glad that we have a similar opinion on this issue. The development of the digital economy requires adapting systemic solutions and legal norms to the conditions and specificity of economic development.
Best regards,

Maybe we'll write an article on developing new laws in the digital economy. Understand which economic laws really work.
Dear Rinat Zhanbayev,
Interesting initiative. I am open to cooperation in jointly writing articles and monographs on the subject of this discussion and also on other topics discussed in other discussions. The issue of the process of adjusting regulations in the digital economy to the dynamically changing digital economy and the developing fourth technological revolution known as Industry 4.0 is also an interesting topic.
Best wishes,

Great, you have chosen a very relevant topic for a future article "The process of adjusting the rules of the digital economy in light of the dynamically changing digital economy and the emerging fourth technological revolution known as Industry 4.0." Then I suggest you one of our review articles, make a "journal article" and publish one of the best Scopus or WoS journals.
After that, I'm ready to start writing a monograph on the digital economy with you.
I find the topic very interesting, and would be very happy to contribute.
Dear Rinat Zhanbayev,
You proposed a great topic: "The process of adapting the rules of the digital economy in the light of the dynamically changing digital economy and the emerging fourth technological revolution known as Industry 4.0" to write an article on this subject. Dear Sonia Quiroga,
I also believe that sustainable growth will be possible, above all, from a socio-ecological perspective. In the post-pandemic world, a broad brush look at the directions in which globalization may follow (and our view of the way it should follow):
https://digitalcommons.uri.edu/mgdr/vol5/iss4/1/
Future globalization direction is less of an issue as compared to whether or not it would exist altogether.
Dear Nikhilesh Dholakia,
Yes. The SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic could have changed a lot in the recent years of globalization trends.
Thank you very much,

It seems to me that the directions will not change much. The nature of globalization lies in the unification and codification of social, economic and political space. One can support the thesis of Negri and Hardt about building a global empire, however, as social realities show, this seems unlikely. Most likely, the processes of globalization will face local resistance, which is already happening: sovereignty, populism, anti-democratic tendencies, social movements, anti-globalism, and so on.
Dear Professor Prokopowicz, this question is still relevant. The modern world is very much endangered by the risk of an ecological catastrophe, the risk of a humanitarian catastrophe and, finally, the risk of a global medical catastrophe. Our earth needs, as never before, the unity of all people and the abandonment of narrow national interests in order to jointly solve problems that go beyond the limits of individual countries as a humanity. Unfortunately, we are dealing with mass talk of politicians and officials who are willing to show themselves in the light of cameras and pretend to unite, and in practice, for the past 20 years, globalization has been withdrawing, because we observe the emergence of new barriers to free trade, movement, employment at work, or finally the free purchase and sale of products on a global scale. The renaissance is experiencing trade protectionism and economic nationalism in a "modern" version used by large countries and country blocs. Best regards
Dear Ruslan,
Thanks for the answer. That's right. Globalization processes inspired by globally operating corporations generate the development of alter-globalist social movements. On the other hand, some determinants of globalization processes are objectively realized. In the future, the key factors of objectively taking place globalization processes will include determinants and the growing need to solve global problems, i.e. pandemics, global economic and financial crises, the progressing global warming process, global climate crisis, global environmental policy, etc.
Thank you very much,
Best wishes,
Dariusz
Just to improve Inland transport and distribution system to keep the direction in right track in the passage from the origin to destination.
Dear Razon,
Yes, you pointed to the issue of solving the problems of international supply logistics and supplying production processes with the necessary components and prefabricated products that appeared during the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic. In a situation where, in order to solve these problems of delays in the supply of necessary components, the chains of international supply and supply logistics are shortened, this may result in a reduction in the scale of the ongoing processes of economic globalization.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Dariusz
Scientific and technological achievements cannot be hidden from any country. The trend to use them globally is obvious. Whereas cultural, educational, economic, social, and national political differences and interests make it difficult to achieve a more or less uniform in time and degree distribution of globalization in the world. Up until those impediments got soften, a uniform globalization doesn't seem to be realistic.
Culture is not an obstacle to communication, but requires personal engagement to preserve the roots from which any artistic and scientific achievement derives.
Thus, globalization tending to uniformize culture that represents people’s roots must be avoided!
Dear Maryam Salimi,
Yes, I agree with your opinion on the key aspects of globalization. In my opinion, the globalization of culture is related to the ongoing processes of information globalization, in which the Internet plays the main role and social media portals play a special role in the field of information globalization. In addition, the globalization of culture is associated with social, economic, technological, political, art, etc. globalization. Recently, the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic has also played an important role in modifying the processes of globalization. You are right that education processes should take into account specific determinants of globalization processes. In my opinion, the importance of pro-environmental globalization, global ecological policy, international cooperation in solving key problems of the development of civilization, to which negative climate changes are increasingly added, including, in particular, the progressing global warming process, is also growing. Therefore, the importance of global environmental policy may increase in the future, and it will also be an important issue included in education processes.
Thank you very much,
Best wishes,
Dariusz
In the past, and still the process of globalization affects almost all aspects of our lifestyle, in additional to these processes of information, cultural, technological, financial, economic, political globalization which are currently dominating, still are other effects of globalization on identity and character of the world's cities and their societies. Where some scholars asking, why do all modern towns and cities now look the same, dominated by identity buildings, and Multinational companies, even arbitrarily imposed urban design rules. While others are concerned about the globalization of urban identity even the identity of inhabits in some cities are multi-identity or unclear, plus the environmental impacts almost everywhere. Also, the socio-cultural and economic circumstances, which have changed as a result of globalization experienced all over the world, make it compulsory to re-shape cities and their societies, where urban identity concept has gradually become more important after emergence the phenomenon of globalization.
Dear Almabrok,
That's right. The processes of economic, financial, cultural, social, informational globalization, etc. also affect the development of urban agglomerations, within which certain trends in urbanization styles, used construction technologies, urban spatial development, implementation of the principles of sustainable development, agglomeration development in accordance with the green smart concept are unified. city, the use of renewable energy sources, eco-innovation in construction, etc. The key issue of economic globalization is the international activity of transnational corporations. On the other hand, an important factor of information globalization is the dissemination of new Internet technologies, information technologies ICT and Industry 4.0 in various applications in business entities operating in various sectors and sectors of the economy of individual countries. In view of the above, globalization also generates the homogenization of development trends in urban agglomerations, including cities developing according to the green smart city concept.
Thank you very much,

I think topics like: Digital Finance, Environmental issues and Pollution and Advanced Marketing wars.
Globalization appears to be a more complex concept as mentioned by other colleagues here in the attempt to define it. I would like to focus on the three aspects of the concept: the economic, political and cultural components.
As to the future trends, I would guess that aspects such as Global Sustainable Development, Cost-Benefit Analysis (Economic) and Health in the Society would attract more attention...
Dear Sardar Shaker Ibrahim,
Yes, you have pointed out important determinants of the globalization processes of the present decade. I also believe that the technological transformation of finance, the development of the digital economy, digitization of open knowledge resources, the development of cryptocurrencies, internet microfinance, the growing importance of pro-environmental policy, pro-ecological transformation of the economy, development of renewable energy sources, development of green economy, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, activities aimed at to slow down the processes of climate change, the process of global warming, reduction of the level of environmental pollution, development of sustainable ecological agriculture, development of global environmental policy, application of Industry 4.0 technology in the improvement of production logistics processes, etc., these will be important determinants of globalization processes in the coming years.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Dariusz
For globalization to be fully successful as a so-called human integration project, we now need to take full advantage of the new digital technologies, in particular the internet and instant messaging. As citizens of the world, we should take the baton from politicians, and we, as consumers who can take advantage of the opportunities and threats of globalization, should manage its further development process. The question is how? We should discuss and agree on legal, economic, ecological and financial solutions as representatives of various professional and social groups, or members of the NGO organization, through social networks and communicators for mutual discussion, such as MS Teams, not to look at politicians and governments, but to formulate solutions to global problems from the perspective of citizens of different countries of the world in the largest possible groups and environments. Therefore, I see the future of globalization in bringing people together and people-to-people cooperation at a distance, and in the long run, by convening thematic meetings live, which, given the technological possibilities of today, is feasible. If globalization were to focus on the mutual cooperation of all societies of countries that have the Internet, we would remove such a danger as wars caused by invasive politicians striving for the greatest possible power. There is also a potential threat. If people do not want to get closer to each other, get to know each other and understand the differences and opportunities for mutual cooperation, then there will be no further globalization.
Best regards
thank you Dr. Minadeo. I think we see the problem of globalization similarly. As professionals from different countries, we should take matters into our own hands and better inform people and politicians about the problems of, for example, eco-development and the need for global disarmament, and the reduction of the armed forces. If we were to reduce military spending by 3/4 on the earth and allocate this money to the fight against global warming, or modern efficient agriculture, we would probably contribute to saving peace on the planet, than the millions of troops in the next current arms race between Russia, China, the USA or India because of the sick ambitions of politicians dictators in Russia and China. All the Best
Dariusz,
From an economic point of view, globalization has been the main reason we enjoyed over 30 years of low inflation and that has been at the root of great prosperity. But it has also created imbalances -in particular US huge budget and trade deficit-that are not sustainable in the long run.Covid 19 crisis has also shown some weaknesses of globalization. The fragility of supply chain and the overwhelming manufacturing dependence on certain countries are good examles.
In the future, these problems will have to be solved. The solution will probably be in a more balanced and regulated approach that would take into account the interests of all the partakers.
That's right. The SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic has increased the scale of the effects of factors limiting economic globalization. At the end of the 1990s, the first negative symptoms of an excessively large scale of relocation of manufacturing enterprises from highly developed to developing countries began to appear. These negative aspects concerned changes in the labor markets typical of the development of the downturn. Attempts were made to replace the decline in an important pro-development factor, which is the production potential and employment, with an improvement in the economic situation on the housing and financial markets through the created, new, additional, interventionist insurance systems against an even greater downturn and the financial and economic crisis. The 2008 global financial crisis did occur, however, and also once again pointed to the shortcomings of economic globalization. Subsequently, the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic showed the weakness of economic globalization by disrupting international supply chains of supply and sourcing logistics. These problems still exist and also concern the significant advantage of demand over the supply of electronic components, e.g. microprocessors based on semiconductors, which do not reach the factories where the final technological products are assembled on time. The international trade wars that were an important factor limiting economic growth even before the pandemic continue to function. The war in Ukraine will cause an additional decline in the scale of international flows of goods and factors of production in some economic regions of the world. In the future, the deepening negative effects of climate change, including the progressing global warming process, may increase the scale of urgent implementation of the sustainable development goals, urgent pro-environmental transformation of the economy, sustainability and economic self-sufficiency of both urban agglomerations operating in the sustainable green smart city model as well as entire economies. These processes may further limit the scale of economic globalization in the future.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Dariusz
