Startups develop innovative business projects in such areas as: information technology, ICT, Internet, biotechnology, energy, ecology, environmental protection, medicine, agribusiness, etc. In addition, a number of innovative technologies in construction, material, process and marketing innovations have recently been created in the field of smart city, life science, cleantech, medical intelligence and others that are used by companies and corporations operating in various sectors of the national or international economy.
In addition, innovative business projects are also developed in the fields of various fields of information services, advanced data processing, business analytics and the development of teleiform technologies, which together are the pillars of a knowledge-based economy. The current technological revolution known as Industry 4.0 is motivated by the development of the following factors:
Big Data database technologies, cloud computing, machine learning, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence. It is anticipated that in the next years in these fields of science and technology many large startups will be created, which will be developed effectively based on innovative business projects related to the topics mentioned above. On the basis of the development of the new technological solutions mentioned in recent years, the processes of innovatively organized analyzes of large information collections gathered in Big Data database systems dynamically develop.

Activation of entrepreneurship and innovation of the SME sector entities, including microenterprises and innovative startups is currently one of the key determinants of pro-development, anti-crisis economic policy.
Currently, the importance of this issue is growing in the context of the slowdown in economic growth that has appeared since the end of 2018 in many economies. Certain instruments of state intervention, including activating entrepreneurship and innovativeness of economic entities of the SME sector, are considered in many developed countries as one of the main determinants of an effective, pro-development, anti-crisis socio-economic policy.
The significance of this factor in pro-development anti-crisis socio-economic policy is growing in the context of depleting the potential of other interventionist factors, such as maintaining low interest rates and other monetary policy instruments and developing the necessary institutional and economic infrastructure of the business environment.
In many countries, the activation of entrepreneurship and innovation focused on supporting the creation and development of economic entities in the SME sector takes into account the key components of fiscal policy, primarily reducing the key tax categories for the SME sector and creating solutions supporting international trade and promoting the offer of SMEs in other countries. .
However, despite many expenditures incurred for these purposes within the public finances, the development of entrepreneurship and innovativeness can be significantly limited in the situation of a rapidly progressing economically unfavorable process of demographic change, i.e. an aging population. Therefore, the anti-crisis, pro-development Keys' socio-economic policies should also take into account pro-social goals, including taking into account the need to increase fertility in the demographic structure of society. Demographic processes based on the aging of the society are serious problems of the age of developed countries, which limit the possibility of using the instruments of enterprise activation and innovation of business entities representing the sector of small and medium enterprises.
In relation to the above, it is also important to develop instruments of socio-economic policy that lead to improvement of the economic, material and housing situation of the society. Thanks to these solutions, it is possible to improve consumption, which is a key element necessary for the development of business entities manufacturing products and services to meet the needs of citizens.
