Does CNT helps in improving the properties of Core Fe2O3 materials ? Im really curious to know why CNT makes it really interesting than other encapsulating materials ?

In theory, such a unique hybrid structure is expected to manifest greatly improved
electrochemical performance because of the integration of several advantageous structural features. Specifically, the highly conductive and flexible CNT can provide a three-dimensional (3D) electronic network to facilitate the charge transfer.
Second, the hollow Fe2O3 nanohorns grafted on the CNT are beneficial to the enhanced electrochemical activity and mechanical integrity of the electrode due to their large surface area, nanoscale diffusion length of typically a few nanometres and sufficient internal void space. Furthermore, the outmost continuous carbon nanocoating around the overall architecture may serve as a structural buffering layer to cushion the internal strain associated with the Fe2O3 nanostructures from being electrically isolated upon cycling,
