In Raman spectroscopy, what information do HH/VV and HV/ VH polarisation spectra gives individually. Why these are studied separately?

For the analysis of Raman spectra, why are these spectra studied individually? Do they refer to information of spectra at high frequency bands and low frequency bands? Kindly explain the difference and their use.

Can we study the raman spectra without applying these polarisations?

The polarized Raman spectra could offer the symmetry of the vibration, which could help to assign the vibrational peak, and also the polarized spectra could offer the information of the time scale of the vibration dephasing, reorientation. You can see some papers of mine.
