I’am running a moment-curvature analysis in OpenSees when the units are in kN/m the analysis is ok, but when I change de units to N/mm I get some errors from material (ReinforcingSteel), it says:

I do not understand what you want to do. You want to modify the unit of the result? Or do you want to write all your data in different units (kN-> N and mm->m) ?
If it is the first case, you have nothing to do since it is equivalent with a factor 10^6 for the moment.
I do not know Opensees but by reading your file, it seems that the loading does not depend on the units you chose. So maybe it does not come from the material definition but the loading procedure.
Thanks Damien Decret for your answer, and yes I need to write all the input data in Newtons and millimeters, but when i do so, i get errors from the steel material, opensees is an unitless software but when i change from kN to N and m to mm i get the "Large trial compressive strain" error, I checked the input data and they seem to be consistent, in kN and m the analysis is runing ok.
