Hi..
I have done the mass spectra (ESI+-MS) of n-acetyl neuraminic acid(309.27g/mol) we found following peak
Molecular -ion 59, 272, 274, 292, 314, 332,333, 334, 641
Intesities 827, 384, 1736, 557,3398, 12376, 2147, 650
Can someone anlyze which is molecular ion peak and which one base peak???

Actually most of the fragmentation ion peak we analysed it the only peoblem is comming in molecular ion peak. Acccording to to mass spectra principle the molecular ion peak should small compare to the base peak but i didnt find any small peak of molecular ion so in my case can i conside the base peak as a molecular ion peak??
