I am thus seeking advice on the sort of courses that might be particularly relevant or in demand in academia, the health service or industry. I think it would valuable to emphasize the importance of the end product. I find many new laboratorians struggle applying resluts to a overall diagnosis. They understand the specifics but are not able to see the big picture. In a chemical lab this may invovle purity, contaminates or waste products, but in a medical lab it may change patient outcomes.
