In SEM, can we present two different models, one bases on theoretical base and other for hypothesis testing? OR
In one model we have to present model fit and hypothesis?
If objective needs , we should but theory doesn't allow
Generally speaking, a theory leads to a set of hypotheses, which are then combined into a model. For Structural Equation Modeling, each path within the structural model represents a hypothesis about the presence and direction of an effect.
There can only be one model but involving its dimension and then hypothesis testing of its parameters and not two separate models.
Research is all about flexibility
