How can we defferentiate between design, construction and development of electronics device.
- Design is the Idea of an solution.
- Construction means the hardware realization.
- Development means tuning of the electronics to
reach the desired specifications of the circuit.
Electronic Design is connecting electronic components, to each other, in a way that produces desired results. This is commonly put on a document known as a schematic. The electronic component part numbers are on a document commonly known as a BOM (Bill of Materials).
Electronic Construction could mean creating electronic components, such as creating an MSP430 electronic component using silicon.
Electronic Construction could also mean mounting electronic components on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
Electronic Development commonly means creating other documents, such as the procedure to test electronic assemblies to verify they meet the electronic specification (including the output results tested with vibration and temperature changes).
Electronic Development also includes the procedure to test the electronic assemblies at an electronic assembly manufacturing company to ensure the correct components were mounted correctly on a PCB.
