According to my limited experience with COMSOL 3.5a, I have noticed that the "COMSOL Multiphysics" is a very flexible and powerful Commercial Software where USERS are allowed to incorporate different of "Modelling Units" into one PLATFORM.
Since COMSOL has the "Darcy's Law" based module for porous media flow, I believe that you are also allowed to add the "Energy Transport" with it. If you can do it successfully, then it will cover your whole interest i.e., "Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer in Porous Media".
However, I believe that the current version of COMSOL may have more flexibility! So, I would like to recommend you to check the "THEORY & USER MANUAL OF COMSOL" for further details regarding your problem, which will be very helpful for your work.
