we did a very simple experiment of optical diffraction (single slit experiment) with a laser diode and observed dark-bright fringes on the plane of diffraction experiment (details of experiment such as laser frequency, etc are of minor importance). then we made a small hole in the middle of one of dark fringes (that located just in proximity of the main bright fringe) then we put another plan behind the hole to see any photon but found nothing, even when the second plane is moved and various points of space behind the main plane is screened. the accuracy of experiment increased by screening by a photon-sensor behind the hole to find photons but the result was almost the same.
according to single slit formulation, photons on dark fringes interfere destructively and this is the reason for constituting of dark fringes. but according to Fraunhofer and Fresnel diffraction formulation, photons after passing destructive interfering plane, they pass over one another and there is no reason to neutralize one another and we should find them with optical sensor, how it is possible and how we came up with this result, is this because of a big technical mistake that we did?
