Hello. I am using an explanatory sequential mixed method design in my study. I have my quantitative data ready, and I understand it informs the qualitative data that follows, So what do I do, after I collect these data. I will be glad if someone can give me a reference. Thank you
The textbook by Creswell and Plano-Clark, Designing and Conducting Mixed Methods Research, has a full chapter on explanatory sequential mixed method designs.
Because the results from your initial quantitative phase should determine the research goals for the qualitative phase, I would expect to see the quantitative results first.
Usually, the quantitative results are presented first, and then you corroboratively follow up with the qualitative results per the objectives of your research.
