I want to know if at a non-planar surface tie constraint, I have traction or compression between my two 3D parts, I need to get :
(Sigma.n).n
Sigma being the stress tensor and n being the normal to the surface
for each element composing the surface.
Is there a way to automatically compute this (option in field output, ...) ?

It is not possible on a tie. You should define a contact and then look at the Cpress value. Otherwise create a coordinate system normal to the surface, transform the results (Results-option-transform) and look at the S11 value.

u can define a datum point on the tie constraintT then couple it with tie constraint(use tie constraint) and then apply pressure load to the datum point.

Since it seemed not possible to automatically get this field since the tie surface is quite complex so I wrote a python script to write it in a text file.
I've attached my script in a pdf to keep syntax highlighting.
Franco I've used your idea and created a coordinate system on some elements to check if I had the same result as the one computed by my script. And I have no difference if I create the coordinate system on the undeformed shape, it's consistent since I compute normal based on initial nodes coordinates. I might change it to compute it on deformed shape though, it seems more relevant.
If I find a way, I will create a scalar fieldOutput out of it to be able to display it in ABAQUS CAE
