Sundar R If it is a fine superlattice structure has formed, XRD fringes near main Bragg peak should be visible in 2 theta omega profile. To view the fringes, high resolution log scale XRD measurements might help.
The super lattice diffraction peaks are indicating a doubling of unit cell from lead magnesium niobate (PMN) single crystal using X-ray diffraction technique. The broad width of the super lattice diffraction peaks indicates that the super lattice ordering in PMN is of short range. Also check the temperature as a parameter, in some cases temperature does not matter at all.
For thin film:
Super lattice measurements in multilayered heteroepitaxial structures, which manifest as satellite peaks surrounding the main diffraction peak from the film. Film thickness and quality can be deduced from the data.
