In a VLE simulation, is it unusual to obtain a negative pressure in the liquid phase?

I am running a VLE calculation using RASPA and I keep getting a negative pressure for the liquid phase of some compounds. I would like to know if this is a common occurence, in which case only the vapor pressure is the valuable information obtained or is this a problem and if so how can it be addressed ?
