Part of the submission process to Composite Structures is to propose potential reviewers for the submitted paper. The reviewers and their contact information will be provided online during the submission. So, is it necessary to include the suggested reviewers in the cover letter with their contact information?

It depends on journal for which you are submitting. Mainly covering letter for a journal should contain
1. The name of the manuscript and the names of the authors.
2. Brief background of your study and the research question you sought to answer
3. A short paragraph that explains why your manuscript would be a good fit for the journal.
4. Statement that your paper has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

If the journal requires this step, you'll see 'Propose Reviewer' and/or 'Oppose Reviewer' during the submission process.
If you see 'Propose Reviewer' your journal indicates the number of potential reviewers required at the top of the page.
If you select 'Oppose Reviewer' from the menu, note that the information you enter is confidential and only visible for the editor.
Fill in the empty text fields.
When you're finished, click 'Add Reviewer'. Each suggested reviewer you propose or oppose is displayed in the table.
Optional: click 'Remove' or 'Edit' to make changes to the table.
Click 'Next' when you're finished proposing or opposing reviewers

I appreciate your time answering my question. My question was kind of specific. I completely understand the process of suggesting reviewers while submitting the paper online. I was just wondering whether I should include the reviewers names and contact information in the cover letter or not. I have already added the reviewers with their contact information as it was requested during the submission process. However, I did not know if I should include a few words about them in the cover letter.

You have already included the reviewers names and contact information during the submission process. Therefore, no need to include the reviewers names and contact information in the cover letter. This procedure is adapted in most of the journals particularly in online submission frame work. You can give the reviewers information only if they instruct/ask you to do so. But, this happens only in few cases only. All the best.

Hope you are doing well, I never include the potential reviewers in my cover letters, and in my cover letter I just highlighted the results and novelty of my research which aligns well with the scope of journal. I believe you can provide the name of potential reviewers for the journal via your submission process. However, there is no standard for this, just read the submission instructions for your journal carefully, if they need that, they may mentioned it.
